Hi, my name is Jane and I'm a pastel artist based in Alberta, Canada*.
My love of art goes back to my childhood and many hours spent in the art room at school. I studied art at college, using mainly watercolour and acrylic. However, in recent years I discovered pastels, which is now my medium of choice.
Over the years, my artwork has developed from landscapes and abstracts to finding my true passion - animals. I love the texture of fur and bringing the character of a particular animal to life. There is nothing better than a client saying I have captured the essence of their pet.
